Narrative
FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Fayetteville Police are investigating a triple-fatality collision that occurred Friday along Cedar Creek Road.
Emergency crews were called to the stretch of roadway between FM 2006 and LA Dunham Road shortly before 4:30 p.m. This is north of I-95 and south of Kinlaw’s Supermarket.
Officials say the driver of a northbound Dodge Charger was likely speeding when he entered the southbound side of Cedar Creek Road and collided with a southbound Honda.
Both people in the Charger died at the scene. Authorities identified them as 42-year-old Jermaine Stubbs and 41-year-old Hope Bryant.
The driver of the Honda succumbed to her injuries after transport to an area hospital. She’s been identified as Marcia Adair-Davis, 51.
A full investigation is underway.
